Ohio College Tech Prep

Launched in 1991, the educational
initiative serves more than 16,000 students in almost 700 Ohio programs
supported by 23 consortia.

Each consortium is governed by a representative board that provides
leadership for responsive, efficient and flexible programs. Consortia
coordinate local programs in collaboration with employers, community and technical
colleges, universities and secondary schools.

the nation’s leading College Tech Prep programs.

High school classes are offered on college campuses
and industry sites.

and industry team-teaching strategies are implemented.

Core academics and specialized technologies are taught
within a context relevant to the pathway.
