Ohio College Tech Prep operates under the Ohio Department of Education Office of Career Technical and Adult Education as a secondary education strategy. 

ODE partners with the Ohio Board of Regents (OBR) to jointly manage the Ohio College Tech Prep initiative.  ODE College Tech Prep responsibilities:

• funding and fiscal oversight

• certification
• secondary education
• secondary professional development
• data resource
